At a punchy 40 PPM (Phenol Parts per Million), this limited edition bottling - exclusively for Taiwan - carries a big peaty (phenolic), beachy, oceanic, slightly ashy selection of Malts, only from the Island of Islay, from where the Laing Directors hail.
Ally these lusty & robust Islay Malts selected for BIG PEAT with the fact that no chill filtration takes place - a more old fashioned, traditional approach - & you will detect a massive amplification of its sweet peat, sooty chimneys, creosoted beach huts & tarry ropes qualities on the nose, palate & finish."
