Bowmore is home to the world's oldest Scotch maturation warehouse, the legendary No. 1 Vaults. Some of the world's most coveted single malts have been meticulously matured there, steeped in more than 230 years of heritage, matured in the finest casks.
The wines barrique-matured deep mahogany twenty-six year old is released in the Bowmore Vintner's Trilogy, a grape-inspired series imbuing the signature Bowmore flavour with attributes of the finest ex wine, port and sherry casks.
Meticulously double matured, first for thirteen years in ex-bourbon barrels, then for thirteen more in wine barriques, this expression is a triumph of masterful distillation. Its perfectly balanced notes of tropical fruit, oak spiced smoke and dark chocolate give way to a long lasting, mouth-watering finish and a hint of salt on the lips."
