This unique, rare, bottling of Deanston was originally hand-filled to bourbon casks in June 2006, After 8 years the amber gold spirit was then carefully transferred to specially selected Pedro Ximenez butts and returned to our vaulted warehouse on the banks of the River Teith.
Here it was left to finish maturing for a further 2 years, taking on the influence and aromas of the dark, sweet sherry wood. The result is an exceptional one-off limited edition single malt whisky that displays the distinctive honeyed notes of Deanston, but with added notes of fruit cake, raisins and chocolate that reward and delight."
