This collectable set was released in 2014 to celebrate 10 years since the re-opening of Mitchell's Glengyle Distillery on the 25th March 2004. The set is extremely rare with only 700 being produced. And of course with the best price worldwide.
"To mark the re-opening of Mitchell's Glengyle Distillery on March 25th 2004, the first six casks filled from the very first spirit run were laid down to be bottled in celebration of the distillery's 10th birthday in 2014.
Each of the six casks was of a different wood type - bourbon, oloroso sherry, fino sherry, rum, port and madeira - and was chosen for its exceptional quality. Limited to 700 bottles from each cask, the whisky has been bottles in a six-bottle set; the only official release of 10 year old Kilkerran Single Malt.
This bottle is from that never-to-be-repeated-set."
