"Forty years ago, King Car embarked on a journey of tremendous challenge and change to become one of Taiwan's most trusted companies. Established in 1979 by chairman Mr. Tien-Tsai Lee, King Car started off manufacturing household cleaning supplies and insecticides. The business later expanded into the food and beverage industry, launching brands including, King Car Root Beer, Mr. Brown Coffee, mini-Oligo, Green Time, and YoGo Fresh. In recent years, the group has gained intemational recognition with its award-winning whisky brand, Kavalan, alongside the new beer brand, Buckskin. Kavalan was the dream of a father to do the impossible and the mission of his son to make it a reality. The King Car 40th Anniversary Limited Edition has been created to mark an incredible first four decades. King Car is rooted in the land of Yilan County, which has given it life and is represented through the silhouette of Snow Mountain, which embodies the height of quality and the permanence aspired to by the group. Elegance and strength are expressed through the bottle's smooth yet sturdy shape. Its crown-shaped cork points to the group's name and is adorned with a Swarovski® crystal. The themes of persistence and durability, and Kavalan's harmony with its natural environment, are imparted through the leather and wood casing of the box. 

Created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of King Car Group, this extraordinary, flavourful limited edition was aged in an exclusive French red wine cask, elegantly combining the creamy richness of toffee with the intense sweetness of dark fruit notes.
