"The NV Blanc de Noirs "Assemblage Two" (or "A2") is 100% Pinot Noir sourced from top vineyards in the Montagne de Reims. This cuvée (L107C8) blends the vintages of 2008, 2009 and 2010. It opens with a pretty delicate yet slightly reductive bouquet of bright red fruits (raspberries, cherries) and white mushrooms. Black bread or pumpernickel as well as green walnut flavors on the palate lead to a firmly structured Champagne that is slightly drying on the finish and does not really stimulate, although it reveals nice salinity. This is probably (and hopefully) not the very best bottle: 88+ Parker Points!"
