"Un-chillfiltered & Triple Distilled
Wonderfully crisp and creamy with soft, floral aromas; vanilla, mint and gentle syrup on the palate and a spiced pear finish. A hand selected 30 Year Old vintage laid down in 1990 and specially selected as a classic example of the distillery's peerless smooth character.
Rosebank Distillery was established on the banks of the Forth & Clyde Canal, in the outskirts of Falkirk, in 1840.
By the 20th Century, Rosebank was revered by whisky connoisseurs the world over as 'The King of the Lowlands'. There was a beautiful juxtaposition in one of the lightest, most floral Scotch whiskies originating on Scotland's heavy industry Central Belt.
This contrast was reflected in the unique production technique of marrying worm tub condensers and triple distillation.
The resulting light but full flavour contrast made it a category-defining Lowland single malt Scotch whisky.
The distillery doos closed in 1993 until, in 2017, with the fabric of the building crumbling, Ian Macleod Distillers began its revival, with a commitment to ensuring Rosebank justifiably remains its very special place in Scotland's whisky heritage.
