For over 240 years, Bowmore Distillery has been capturing the essence of Islay from the shores of its remote island home. Shaped by the sands of time, our single malt harnesses the power of this time in every single drop which tells a story of the past, savoured in the present. This is a single malt defined, shaped and crafted by time.
Distilled in 1969, this extremely rare single malt has been meticulously nurtured by our craftsmen for over five decades. During this lengthy union between spirit and oak, a defining character emerged, becoming increasingly complex as refined smoke flavours and fruit came to the fore.
The taste almost indefinable; an enigma of flavours which have shaped Bowmore's legacy for decades."
