This whisky was distilled at Laphroaig Distillery on the island of Islay on the 18th Februari 1966 and has matured on oak casks at the distillery, and more recently in our warehouse in Edinburgh. The whisky was drawn from cask number 561 on 18th June 1996, and subsequently bottled under my supervision in the City of Edinburgh.
